Emergency Lights are for just that, an emergency. Rita Miller opened up a business on in Washington. Her dream had always been to own her own business. After months of work and planning, she opened her first hair salon. Rita had planned for everything except and emergency. She had not emergency lights. When it was time for inspection, Rita failed. This cause much stress and inconvenience to Rita. Later that month, Rita finished installing all of her EXIT SIGNS, Emergency Lights and Emergency lighting. Then next day, there was a massive power outage during the evening. The emergency Lights responded and everybody got out of the hair salon with no problem. Rita realized at that time the importance of emergency lights and why it is required. What a coincidence that the day after she installed her exit signage and emergency lights, this would take place.
